This is why a gospel perspective helps us in every aspect of our lives. We don't have to be the best. Even though we may be insignificant in the world and this vast universe that God created. He created it for us and we can achieve all that he wanted, by being the least, like a little child, submissive, and listening to the Lord.

I knew that it didn’t matter to Heavenly Father where I was, where I ranked with others in my pilot training class, or what my calling in the Church was. What mattered to Him was that I was doing the best I could, that my heart was inclined toward Him, and that I was willing to help those around me. I knew if I did the best I could, all would be well."
I know that the Lord has not forgotten me, but sometimes I know that I forget how to best please Him. I was inspired by this quote and I know that I read it for a reason. :) Our best is all that the Lord expects. :) and He always blesses us for it.
